BucKreek Ranch, located in Mesick, Michigan, has become one of Michigan's premier hunting ranch. Located just 30 miles south of Traverse City in the northwest corner of Wexford County. At our ranch your hunting enjoyment is our #1 priority. When you're hunting in our Whitetail enclosure, we hope to create memories that will last a lifetime.

 

Remember how hunting Whitetail in Michigan used to be? You can once again relive that feeling. That tingle in your toes and the racing of your heart when that big buck walks in. Bucks of all ages and sizes roam this piece of "God's country." Our 70-acre enclosure is covered with hardwoods and evergreens, with a creek that runs through the center. Irrigated food plots help to keep our Whitetail herd in substantial amounts of food.

The following is a brief outline of how your hunt will be taken care of, and what exactly is included in our fee.

If needed, we will provide you with accommodations to and from the airport, however, all airline fees are your responsibility. If you will be driving your own vehicle we will give you directions to our home. After leaving the airport, we will stop by a local grocery store where you can purchase all your supplies needed to prepare your meals during your stay. The cabin is supplied with plates, silverware, etc. Any perishable items will need to be supplied by you.

Doe and cull buck hunts will take 1-2 days, and more time may be needed for trophy class bucks. You will have a guide with you at all times while you are out in one of our blinds.

The processing of your venison can be done here locally if you choose. We work with a local butcher and recommend him highly. His starting rate is $60, and increases depending on how you choose to have your venison prepared. Taxidermy is your decision, but we do have a taxidermist available if needed.

Lodging - (available to all who wish to hunt our ranch)

A cozy rustic cabin is nestled in the center of our enclosure. Our cabin is fully equipped with power and running water. The cabin is available to our Whitetail hunters only.

Pheasant Pricing:
$14/pheasant with a minimum of four birds per gun.
$50 for a guided half day hunt. This includes Guide and Dogs.
$1.50 per pheasant cleaned (Available on weekends only)
